Our Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Health and Social Care is a 60-credit qualification, equivalent to one A level. This OTHM course is designed to provide you with essential knowledge, skills, and understanding needed to pursue a career in the health and social care sector — whether as a support worker, senior support worker, or care assistant.
The diploma is made up of 6 modules, each supported by assignments, combining for a total of 60 credits and approximately 120 guided learning hours.

Once you complete this Level 3 Health and Social Care Diploma, you will receive an OTHM qualification that’s fully recognised and regulated by Ofqual. This opens doors to progress onto undergraduate degree programmes at many UK universities.

You’ll complete 6 written assignments throughout the course, each roughly 2,000 to 3,000 words. After successfully passing all assessments, you’ll earn your OTHM Level 3 Foundation Diploma. The OTHM Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Health and Social Care is made up of six essential modules, each worth 10 credits, combining theory with real-world skills you’ll need to work in the care sector.

You’ll complete six written assignments, one for each module. Each assignment ranges between 2,000 to 3,000 words, and you’ll receive full support through the ‘Tutor’ section of your learning portal to guide you through your work.
