This OTHM course is designed to provide you with essential knowledge, skills, and understanding needed to pursue a career in the health and social care sector — whether as a support worker, senior support worker, or care assistant.

The diploma is made up of 6 modules, each supported by assignments, combining for a total of 60 credits and approximately 120 guided learning hours.

While studying, you’ll have access to a variety of helpful resources including tutor support, live webinars, a social learning forum, and extra materials to guide you through your course successfully.

Once you complete this Level 3 Health and Social Care Diploma, you will receive an OTHM qualification that’s fully recognised and regulated by Ofqual. This opens doors to progress onto undergraduate degree programmes at many UK universities.

If you want to continue your studies further, you can also choose to enrol in our Level 4 or Level 5 Diplomas in Health and Social Care, followed by a top-up to an undergraduate degree.
