How the Level 4 & 5 Health and Social Care Diploma Works
Our Health and Social Care course is designed with flexibility in mind, allowing you to choose between completing just the Level 4 Diploma (120 credits), the Level 5 Diploma (120 credits), or both together for a full 240-credit Qualifi Diploma. Whichever route you choose, this course equips you with the knowledge and practical skills to thrive in the health and social care sector.
You can begin the course at any time, no fixed start dates, and study entirely online, at your own pace. Each module includes around 40 hours of guided online learning, plus an extra 30 to 50 hours of optional resources such as reading materials, suggested exercises, interactive content, and self-assessment tools.
To complete the course, you’ll need to submit six written assignments at Level 4 and five written assignments at Level 5. Each assignment is around 2,000 to 3,000 words and is submitted online for assessment. Once you successfully complete your coursework, you’ll be awarded a Qualifi diploma in Health and Social Care. From there, you’ll have the opportunity to top up your qualification to a full undergraduate degree with various UK universities—either on-campus or via distance learning.
