Institutional Status

Program-Specific Accreditation
IBAS has achieved ACBSP accreditation for its MBA and DBA programs. The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in the United States.
Ongoing Accreditation Efforts
IBAS is actively pursuing Swiss University of Applied Sciences accreditation. However, it is important to note that current or existing programs are not guaranteed to be included under any future accreditation, and such a recognition/accreditation is not guaranteed to be obtained.
To support students seeking a state-recognized qualification, IBAS has established partnerships with recognized institutions, including ATHE (Awards for Training and Higher Education) in the UK. The Flexi-Learn DBA includes 10 modules and a research dissertation. Each module takes 8 weeks to complete and repeats year-round—giving you the chance to join or rejoin at your convenience.

Life doesn’t always follow a schedule. You can pause your studies at any time and pick up the modules you missed when they’re offered again—no penalty, no pressure.
Set Your Own Pace
You can finish your DBA in as little as one year, or spread it out over 2–3 years by studying one module at a time—summer-only options included. Total flexibility, always.

The duration of this program is 3 years but can be completed in 2 years as well.

Learners will study selected modules during the first year and each module takes 4-8 weeks. Then, move to Research and Dissertation phase which can take 1- to 2-years. This comprehensive project showcases critical thinking, research skills, and mastery of a subject through a structured format that includes an introduction, literature review, methodology, results, and conclusion. Once learners have completed all graduation requirements then will be awarded a Degree of Doctorate of Business Administration from IBAS (International Business Academy of Switzerland).
