Our online Project Management course leads to a Level 7 Diploma and is built to help you gain the expertise and confidence needed to thrive in the project management field.

The course is fully flexible—you can begin at any time and study at your own pace. Each of the six modules includes around 40 hours of structured online learning. You’ll also have access to 30–50 hours of additional content like recommended readings, self-check activities, digital resources, and practical exercises to deepen your knowledge.

To earn your diploma, you’ll complete six written assignments—each between 2,000 to 3,000 words—submitted online. Once you’ve successfully passed all modules, you’ll be awarded a Qualifi Level 7 Diploma in Project Management. From there, you can progress to an MBA top-up with a number of UK universities, either online or on campus.

3. Operations and Information Management for Project Managers
   Discover how operations and information systems influence project success. This module breaks down how to manage processes, people, and technology for maximum efficiency, while also showing you how to collect and use data for smarter decision-making. It’s all about improving workflow, reducing risks, and ensuring smooth project delivery.
4. Principles of Project Management
   Here, you’ll explore the core principles behind successful project execution. From understanding the full project lifecycle to using tools like risk analysis, stakeholder engagement, and cost/time control, this module gives you the practical frameworks and techniques used by today’s top project managers.
5. Operations and Global Supply Chain Management
   Learn how to manage supply chains and operations on a global scale. This module helps you understand how effective processes and strategic planning can drive long-term success. Topics include quality control, resource integration, performance improvement, and data-driven decision-making—all crucial for delivering products and services efficiently.
6. Managing Risk, Uncertainty, and Complexity in Projects
   This final module is all about preparing for the unexpected. You’ll study how to identify and handle risks, navigate uncertainty, and manage complex projects with confidence. Practical approaches and real-world examples will help you develop the skills needed to lead even the most challenging projects to success.

To complete the course, you’ll submit six written assignments—one for each module. Each assignment is between 2,000 and 3,000 words and is submitted online. You’ll receive full guidance and support from tutors throughout the course via the dedicated Tutor area of your learning portal.

To join our Level 7 Project Management programme, you’ll need to be at least 21 years old and have a minimum of three years of experience in a management role.

Ideally, applicants should hold a Level 6 qualification or a bachelor’s degree. However, if you have significant hands-on management experience but lack formal qualifications, you may still be eligible—we assess each application on a case-by-case basis.

The MBA top-up focuses on the final 60 credits of the full MBA and typically involves completing a dissertation or a combination of a dissertation and one additional module.
