Our IGCSE English – First Language course offers complete flexibility—start whenever you’re ready and study fully online at your own pace. The program is designed to build a strong foundation in English, preparing you for further education or a career where strong language skills matter.
Each subject includes structured online lessons, with plenty of optional extras like exercises, reading lists, digital tools, and self-assessment quizzes to help deepen your understanding.
To earn your IGCSE qualification, you’ll need to take written exams at an approved exam centre. Don’t worry-we can help you find a suitable centre near you and guide you through the registration process. You can learn more about exam centres and locations here.
As part of the course, you’ll receive personalised one-on-one tutor support along with all the course materials you need. Once you successfully complete the course, you’ll gain an IGCSE English – First Language certificate. This qualification will open doors to A Levels, university study, English-focused careers, or Level 3 courses at BCES Admissions Abroad.
Throughout your studies, you’ll have access to a range of support resources including live webinars, online discussion forums, and additional learning materials to enhance your experience.
When you’re ready to take your IGCSE exam, start by finding an exam centre in your country that accepts private candidates. Once you’ve chosen a centre, register and pay any required fees.
Before your exam day, make sure your statement of entry is correct and bring valid ID to the exam. Keep in touch with your exam centre for any questions or special accommodations you might need.
After your exam, notify the centre if you require any special consideration. You’ll collect your results and certificate directly from them. If you feel a review or appeal is necessary, you can request it through the exam centre.
